Why does love not come with marriage? It's only logic for it to do so. Why did Nanny lie to me, was it to make sure I don't run as fast as the wind through the field away from this fixed life? Maybe if she would have taught me everything it means to bury my feelings and keep a key to my mouth in my pocket, I would have learned sooner that this means a life of solemn days, if no motive to keep mending this setting, I will run away, with who I do not know.
Good figurative language and good ending
ReplyDeleteYou could have made it into a song... But either way nice word choice! You could also make it using non-standard English like in the book, I don't know it makes it sound more "authentic".
