When In Doubt, Run Away.

Why does love not come with marriage? It's only logic for it to do so. Why did Nanny lie to me, was it to make sure I don't run as fast as the wind through the field away from this fixed life? Maybe if she would have taught me everything it means to bury my feelings and keep a key to my mouth in my pocket, I would have learned sooner that this means a life of solemn days, if no motive to keep mending this setting, I will run away, with who I do not know.

Their Eyes Are Watching The Upcoming Year

"There are years that ask questions and years that answer."  Write a speculative response on what the upcoming year will hold for Janie.  Will this year be the year that asks questions or one that answers them?  Will this be the year that does both?

     The upcoming year will probably hold a lot for Janie, lots of new change and finding herself out. Also, who she will become, (Mrs. Mayor Starks) or if she will return to Logan Killicks. The year will definitely be the year that asks multiple questions about herself and the future of Eatonville.
     I believe that she will find unhappiness wherever she goes, if  a man is in that era of time. He is either preoccupied, or wants something more from her. What Janie wants is clearly love, but does she need it to be happy? I think she will not stop untill she finds it.
    Questions might be answered as well, for when one has questions, there will be answers. Therefore, the year will be doing both, for her and everyone involved in her life.
